What is Shadow of the Empires?

Shadow of the Empires is formed by those who believe in the dream of seeing the trolltribes united once more, and wish to offer an alternative future to trolls who refused to join the legion of the Prophet Zul or have abandoned his ranks. Those seeking a different future took residence within the walls of Zul'Gurub and began amassing trolls to the sacred city.

They came from far and wide; remnants of dying tribes, those disillusioned by their leadership and survivors of the losses that took place on Pandaria. Remnants of the fallen troll empires began to grow and flourish, worship of the Loa central to the lives of all within the city. Their numbers are ever-growing as Zul the Traitor makes more and more mistakes and the values of those who live under the Horde are threatened by new leadership. Devout trolls flock to the Jewel of the Jungle and the steadfast servants of the Loa carve a new era in history.

Out of Character Information:

We roleplay on Argent Dawn (EU), and are usually found in the city of Zul'Gurub. We have been around since 2013, originally named 'Zandalari Empire'  and have since then provided a stable roleplay environment for non-horde trolls with around 3 events a week and daily casual roleplay. Our goal is to continue to provide non-horde aligned troll RP in a stable environment! Within the jungles of Stranglethorn we work to unite the remainder of trollkind to ensure its survival and grant the Loa the worship they deserve. We aim to explore the diverse, rich and sometimes clashing cultures and beliefs of those who are left of the great troll empires, providing an alternative for following the Dark Prophet Zul, the blasphemous traitor who treats the divine, sacred Loa as aids for his grab at power.

We hope for all our members to develop their role-play skill during their time with us and initiate long and complex character development arcs that will progress of the course of a few years. That is not to say that we do not accept those of little role-play experience or new to troll lore  - we're only too happy to help!
